AIDAperla and AIDAprima will join AIDA Cruises’ Evolution refurbishment program, with shipyard dates now set for both vessels. In its October 7, 2026 announcement, the line scheduled AIDAperla’s work in Marseille from April 2 to May 2, 2027. AIDAprima follows from April 21 to May 21, 2028.
Planned dining additions include Best Burger @ Sea, Teppanyaki Asia Grill and East Fusion, where hotpot and table-side Korean barbecue will join the Asian menu. New bar spaces include an Art Bar, Panorama Lounge & Bar and Chilli Out Bar.
Cabins will receive bedside USB sockets and bathroom mirrors with night lights. The program also includes additional cabins, refreshed suites and public seating, plus changes to family activity areas.
For travelers comparing departures, the refurbishment dates matter: existing ship tours show the current layouts. The first planned post-refit sailings leave Mallorca on May 2, 2027 for AIDAperla and May 21, 2028 for AIDAprima, according to Cruise Industry News.
