Azamara has opened bookings for two shorter versions of its 2029 World Cruise aboard Azamara Quest, Cruise Industry News reported October 16, 2026. The new choices run for 179 and 139 nights, joining the full 195-night journey that went on sale in September.
The 179-night option is scheduled to leave San Diego on January 3, 2029, and finish in London on July 1. The 139-night journey runs from Sydney on March 1 to Copenhagen on July 17. Each covers five continents, but their different starting points and endpoints create substantially different travel plans.
According to the announcement, the longer of the two new options includes 52 late departures and 16 overnight stays; the shorter includes 43 late departures and 11 overnights.
Travelers comparing the three versions should check their particular route, included events and travel arrangements. The 195-night San Diego-to-Copenhagen itinerary remains a separate choice, rather than being replaced by these additions.
