Carnival is changing how passengers can buy cruise extras, with new bundled packages and a separate shift to variable pricing. Its October 14, 2026 announcement introduces four FunPacks: Kidstarter, Zero Proof, Social and Epic.

The bundles combine different selections of drinks, Wi-Fi and other benefits. Social includes the new CHEERS! Social option, offering eligible non-alcoholic beverages plus three alcoholic drinks each day. Purchases opened October 13 and run through October 30 for eligible sailings departing October 31, 2026, through December 31, 2027.

Separately, Carnival says dynamic pricing for beverage packages and Wi-Fi begins December 1, 2026. Prices will vary with the sailing’s length, itinerary and season. The announcement does not establish whether any particular departure’s price will rise or fall.

For cruise planning, compare the full-trip cost and included benefits against what you expect to use. The official package details explain eligibility and restrictions; the limited FunPack sales window should not be confused with the later pricing-change date.
