Carnival Radiance is back in service from Long Beach after a 15-day stay at the Seaspan shipyard in Victoria, Canada. Carnival announced the return on October 5, 2026.
The changes passengers can look for include an updated Effy jewelry shop and refreshed indoor and outdoor public areas. The ship also has a new decorative crest on its bow. Carnival’s announcement identifies those improvements but does not provide a room-by-room list of the work.
Radiance continues to use Long Beach as its year-round base. Its program includes shorter Mexico trips and selected 14-day Hawaii voyages.
For anyone comparing an upcoming sailing with an older ship-tour video, keep the timing in mind: pre-refurbishment footage may not show the latest finishes or exterior design. Check your own departure’s itinerary for the ports and length, since the ship operates more than one route.
