Carnival Spirit’s next Seattle departure has moved from October 8 to October 9, 2026. The Panama Canal repositioning cruise to Mobile will now last 15 nights instead of 16, and its Cabo San Lucas call has been removed.

In a statement to Cruise Radio, published October 6, Carnival said the ship stopped in Honolulu on October 3 for repairs that were completed that evening. The extra stop also cancelled Victoria on the current Hawaii voyage and delayed the Seattle return by one day. Carnival said onboard safety systems and hotel services continued to operate normally.

For passengers on the shortened sailing, the reported guest notice includes a one-day prorated fare refund, adjustments to prepaid packages and gratuities, refunds for Carnival-booked Cabo excursions and a $250 onboard credit per stateroom.

Travelers should check their latest Carnival notice before changing flights, hotels or independent tours. The company’s stated reason for dropping Cabo is to preserve the scheduled Panama Canal transit slot.
