Celestyal Discovery’s upcoming Western Mediterranean seasons will bring changes beyond the itinerary. Cruise Industry News reported on October 13, 2026 that the line plans 13 new shows, regional menus and destination-focused activities for winter 2026–27 and 2027–28.

The stage lineup includes Pasión Española, built around Spanish music and dance, and Buona Sera Italia, featuring Italian songs. A wider Mediterranean production will draw on music from several countries visited by the ship.

Dining changes include regional dishes in the main restaurants and buffet, with examples ranging from Portuguese caldo verde to Moroccan tagines. Grill Seekers is set to introduce a European bistro-style menu, while the Greek Deli adds Spanish choices alongside its gyros.

Cooking demonstrations and talks will provide context for destinations ashore. For passengers comparing these voyages with an earlier Discovery sailing, the announcement signals a different onboard program. Individual dishes, show schedules and restaurant charges should be checked for the selected departure rather than assumed from the overall announcement.
