Royal Caribbean has added two Hero of the Seas departures ahead of its previously announced August 11, 2027 inaugural cruise, according to a guest notice reported by Cruise Hive on October 5.
The new schedule includes a seven-night Western Caribbean and Perfect Day at CocoCay cruise on August 1, followed by a three-night CocoCay trip on August 8. The August 11 voyage remains scheduled, and guests can keep their existing reservation without taking action.
The notice, also reproduced in reporting by Royal Caribbean Blog, says eligible booked guests can choose staterooms from the afternoon of October 7, 2026. Prices remain subject to the prevailing rate and availability. Change fees for moving to an earlier sailing are waived until October 14, with suites held until that date before being released for new bookings.
Passengers considering a switch should read their own notice and compare the full trip cost, including flights and hotels. A waived cruise change fee does not establish that other travel changes are covered.
