Royal Caribbean advised passengers on Legend of the Seas’ October 4, 2026 departure from Barcelona that boarding would start two hours later than planned. An email reported by Cruise Hive attributed the change to weather affecting the ship’s return.

The revised instructions put the start of embarkation at approximately 1 p.m. instead of 11 a.m. and moved passengers’ assigned arrival times back two hours. The notice also warned against arriving early because the terminal would not be ready to receive departing guests.

At the time of Cruise Hive’s October 3 report, no changes to the seven-night Western Mediterranean cruise’s port calls had been confirmed. The sailing was scheduled to return to Barcelona on October 11.

Spain’s weather agency, AEMET, also listed rain and thunderstorm warnings for Catalonia’s coastal waters on October 4. The boarding notice concerns this specific departure; passengers should use their latest cruise-line instructions for any subsequent updates.
