MSC Virtuosa is moving into the final stretch of its Southampton season before relocating to Brazil, Cruise Industry News reported October 17, 2026.

After its latest 12-night Canary Islands voyage, the ship’s remaining October program consists of shorter Northern European and Iberian cruises. Destinations across those departures include Ireland, Belgium, France, Portugal and Spain; not every sailing visits every country.

The repositioning departure from Southampton is scheduled for November 7. The full 25-night journey ends in Santos after calls in Europe, the Canary Islands and Brazil. Shorter segments are also sold, so travelers should check the endpoint attached to their particular booking rather than assume every November 7 passenger sails all the way to South America.

The winter program includes embarkations in Santos, Salvador and Maceió. Virtuosa is then scheduled to return to Europe for Western Mediterranean cruises in summer 2027. This is a seasonal deployment transition, not an announcement that MSC is ending Southampton service.
