MSC Cruises has confirmed that MSC World Asia will feature an Eataly restaurant when the new flagship begins Mediterranean sailings on December 4, 2026. The announcement published October 15 makes World Asia the second ship to offer the Italian dining brand, following MSC World America.
MSC says the restaurant will combine regional specialties and classic Italian dishes with live cooking and a dedicated table chef. Guests will also be able to eat on an ocean-view terrace and visit the wine cellar at The Terrace Bar to choose a bottle.
Eataly will join more than 40 bars, lounges, cafés and restaurants planned for the ship. Seven-night itineraries will include Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta, with multiple embarkation ports available.
The announcement adds another specific dining venue for travelers comparing the new ship’s onboard options. MSC’s release does not specify Eataly pricing, reservation arrangements or whether dining-package benefits will apply.
