Holland America Line has opened bookings for five additional Oosterdam cruises following the ship’s planned Evolution refurbishment. The October 7, 2026 announcement sets the first departure for October 31, 2027: a 10-day sailing from Civitavecchia, near Rome, to Trieste.
The new sequence continues with Mediterranean departures on November 10 and November 21, a 13-day Atlantic crossing from Barcelona on November 28, and an 11-day Caribbean voyage from Fort Lauderdale on December 11.
Planned changes aboard Oosterdam include purpose-built Solo Verandah cabins, forward-facing Bridgeview Suites, a Grand Dutch Café and a redesigned Ocean Bar. These are future additions, rather than facilities shown in older ship tours.
The booking launch is the new development; the earlier refurbishment timetable was announced in September. Travelers comparing these departures should check their selected cabin category and itinerary against the post-refit plans, especially when using existing reviews or deck photographs to choose accommodations.
