Princess Cruises is bringing Amazon River cruising back to its schedule for the first time since 2014. Its October 13, 2026 announcement outlines more than 250 Americas departures for 2028–29, with the program now on sale.
Among the additions is a 64-day Circle South America voyage aboard Coral Princess. The itinerary combines Antarctica, the Amazon River and a crossing of the Panama Canal’s historic locks. The line’s Amazon plans include scenic cruising and a call at Santarém, Brazil.
There are also shorter options for travelers sailing from the West Coast. Roundtrip Hawaii cruises from Vancouver return, alongside departures from Los Angeles and San Francisco. The line says all of its 10-day Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez sailings in this program will include an overnight stay in Cabo San Lucas.
These are plans for the 2028–29 season, rather than changes to current departures. Compare the specific ship, route and port times before arranging flights or independent excursions.
