Two ships will change cruise lines in 2029. Holland America announced on October 6, 2026 that Arcadia will move from P&O Cruises into its fleet. P&O, in turn, will receive Queen Anne from Cunard.

Arcadia’s arrival will bring Holland America to 12 ships and add capacity for more than 2,000 guests. The vessel uses the same Vista Class platform as Oosterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam. Holland America plans to include it in its wider fleet-improvement program, but has not yet settled the venues and features to be added.

Queen Anne, which accommodates about 3,000 passengers, will undergo substantial design changes for its P&O role in 2029.

For travelers looking several years ahead, the announcement changes which line will operate each ship. It does not yet establish Arcadia’s future routes or finished onboard offering. Holland America says deployment and design details will follow in the coming months, so existing ship tours should be treated as a picture of the ships today.
