Royal Caribbean’s 2028–29 Europe program will keep Rhapsody of the Seas in the region through winter, adding a year-round option alongside its summer deployments. Cruise Industry News reported the announcement on October 14, 2026, citing the line’s release.

Rhapsody’s planned summer itineraries include overnight stays in Alexandria and Istanbul. From November 2028, nine- to 12-night voyages will visit destinations across the Canary Islands, Portugal, Morocco and the Mediterranean. Departure ports in its overall program include Athens, Barcelona and Lisbon.

Elsewhere, Jewel of the Seas will sail from Copenhagen and Stockholm, while Freedom of the Seas will operate from Southampton. Explorer, Liberty, Mariner and Odyssey round out the seven-ship lineup.

The report says Crown & Anchor Society members have early booking access, with general sales opening October 15. Travelers comparing departures should check the individual itinerary: the overnight calls, winter routes and departure ports vary by sailing, rather than applying to every ship in the program.
