Saga’s December Canary Islands cruises will offer two distinct entertainment lineups, according to an October 17, 2026 report and the line’s own program details.
On Spirit of Adventure’s December 7 departure, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are scheduled to discuss their skating careers and answer passengers’ questions. Their appearance is a hosted conversation, not an announcement of an onboard ice show. Radio presenter Ken Bruce will also lead a music quiz, while astronomy speaker Ian Hall joins the program around an overnight visit to Funchal.
Spirit of Discovery’s December 5 sailing instead features Eras, a new Latin and ballroom dance production with Vincent Simone, Michelle Tsiakkas and their professional partners. Dance classes are also planned.
For travelers choosing between the ships, the important detail is the departure date: these guests and activities belong to specific voyages, rather than a fleetwide daily schedule. Check the named sailing’s current program before booking for a particular appearance.
