Vancouver’s Canada Place terminal is approaching the end of its 2026 cruise season with a record 1.4 million passenger visits and 358 ship calls expected for the year. The port’s October 9 announcement identifies Norwegian Encore as the final visiting ship.
Encore is scheduled to arrive at the east berth at 2:30 a.m. on October 12 and depart at 2:30 a.m. on October 13. Those are vessel movements, not passenger check-in times; travelers should follow the instructions attached to their own booking.
The port reports that passenger visits rose 18 percent and ship calls 19 percent compared with 2025. These are visits across the season, rather than a count of unique individual travelers.
Work to expand shore-power capacity is due to start in the coming months, allowing more ships to connect to British Columbia’s electrical grid while alongside. The announcement looks ahead to another busy 2027 season, but does not establish a final passenger total for next year.
