Windstar has announced five James Beard Foundation chef-hosted cruises for 2027, giving travelers specific departures to consider if food is a priority. The line’s October 7 release describes guest-chef dinners, cooking demonstrations and market visits in selected ports.
The schedule starts with Roel Alcudia aboard Wind Surf on July 13–20 in the Greek Isles. Felix Tai joins Star Breeze for French Polynesia on September 5–16, while Cara Tobin sails aboard Star Legend on September 8–16 for an Aegean itinerary using the Corinth Canal.
Cody Hogan hosts Wind Surf’s Greece and Amalfi Coast departure on October 14–21. Christine Lau follows aboard Star Seeker for East Asian Legends, November 4–14.
The visiting-chef program applies to these named sailings. Windstar also serves recipes developed through its foundation partnership elsewhere in the fleet, but that does not mean a guest chef is aboard every cruise. Travelers should check the particular departure and included culinary activities before choosing a sailing.
