Holland America Line has revised Zaandam’s 35-day Legendary Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas voyage, scheduled to leave San Diego on October 15, 2026. The October 29 visit to Tabuaeran, also known as Fanning Island, has been removed.
In a statement published by Cruise Critic, the company confirmed that operating-speed adjustments were needed on portions of the journey. It also confirmed a change in the order of the Raiatea and Bora Bora calls, intended to make Zaandam the only ship visiting each port on those days.
According to Cruise Hive, Raiatea is now scheduled for November 3 and Bora Bora for November 4. Kahului on October 24 and Moorea on November 6 each gain two hours ashore. Guests will receive a $100 non-refundable onboard credit.
Travelers arranging independent excursions should compare their reservations with the revised dates and times. The available statement does not explain the underlying reason for the speed adjustments.
